why?
why do you lie?
why can’t you look back
at the things you have done?
you baptised me
to wash off your sins
you made me believe
you counted on me
why?
why can’t you see?
foundations you’ve built
are never to be
your bigotry and greed
will turn us into
orphanage named earth
why?
why do you keep
repeating mistakes
your fathers have made?
you make brave new world
blue pill in your hand
not brave enough to
go down the rabbit hole
why?
why do you not teach
your children to free
their minds off of regime?
to break all the rules
to lay new foundations
for monuments of tomorrow
redefine
re-evolve
reengage
reconsider
your monuments of tomorrow
carve and shape
minds and thoughts
your monuments of tomorrow
I hope and believe
my children will build
monuments of tomorrow

Wow. I did not expect violin and cello from a crust band.

Construct is a more chaotic sequel to Archivist that continues the original and epic scifi story with a really interesting shift in the arc. The cover art shows the progression elegantly. This entire discography is a must have.

Hearing the songs while reading the narrative behind the lyrics, I felt overwhelmed by this tragic story in which humans and artificial intelligence couldn't coexist side by side. Their reciprocal annihilation was inevitable. Except one "sole survivor, in a ship filled with memories. She had become the proof of Earth, proof that life had existed there, a voice for all the species and beauty we once knew". A dystopian concept dressed up in brilliant musicianship! @Slevin, thanks, I owe it to you! Umbra Cornuta
